Our Senior Leadership:
Prior to joining Hedgepoint, Fernando Adler was the VP of Gradable and Risk Management at FBN, where he managed a 50-60 person org spread across North America. As VP of Gradable, Mr. Adler oversaw all aspects of Gradable engagement with its agricultural commercial customers (including sustainability, financial, technology services). Mr Adler joined FBN when the two sister Ag-related companies in which he was a partner were acquired by FBN.
Mr. Adler’s prior involvement in sustainability markets was as an SVP at Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX), the exchange that pioneered the trading of futures/options in environmental credits. At CCX, he managed teams that ran both the CCX and the Chicago Climate Futures Exchange, as well as directed the technology efforts for both exchanges.
Mr. Adler began his career at Swiss Bank O’Connor (now UBS) where he spent six years working in the modeling and structuring of exotic currency derivatives. Subsequent to UBS, Mr. Adler managed various derivative trading desks across asset classes, including equites, indices, and commodities.
Mr. Adler attended The University of Virginia, earning both a Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering.
